Dr. Stephens attended medical school at Wright State University and completed General Surgery Residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at MountainStar Healthcare St. Mark's Hospital. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American Board of Surgery.
